16 hours from Singapore, and touch down in Toulouse!

First thing we noticed when we came out of the airport was the fog, visibility was very bad.

We then took an uber to our Hotel Apartment in Saint Cyprien.

There were 2 single beds, which i don't know why they won't just put a double bed, but overall it's okay. There's a small kitchen as well to cook in which is great!

We left our stuff in the room and went out to explore.

First thing we saw was this small market, which had seafood and meat on the inside, and vegetable/fruits on the outside.

They definitely look fresh and very vibrant!

We decided to hop on the metro and went to the city, Capitole to see if there were any shops.

ree

There was like a small flea market of 2nd hand goods, like books, paintings, antiques, etc.

First thing we saw after walking for about a minute was this beautiful church(?) tower. The sun was definitely very dazzling!

The buildings definitely were very different from those we have in Singapore. They have very pretty small balcony and have very nice design of the outside!

ree

Unfortunately, not many shops ere open, not even Zara. So the street was just filled with people but nothing much to see.

Sadly our first meal in Toulouse was kebabs, since there wasn't much local restaurants open, there were only bakeries and MacDonalds (which is even more expensive than what we have in Singapore)

But it was still yummy!

We just walked a random direction and came on to a beautiful area with a fountain and a Double Decker carousel!

I have definitely never seen a Double Decker carousel in Singapore before! Maybe i'll ride it some day before going back to Singapore!

There's me in front of the fountain! The tree was also decorated with ornaments (Maybe for Christmas?)

Say hi to the sun again!

There were also these pillars around, which i did not expect to be the toilets. Seems like they don't have any shopping centers here, which means lesser toilets to use.

We then walked in another direction to see if there was anything more to explore. But we just ended up walking to a street of just apartments and buildings under reconstruction near Jean Jaures station. So we ended up walking back to Capitole station and back to Saint Cyprien.

We ended up going to carrefour and bought some groceries!
