The weekend has finally arrived again!

Our first visit of the day was to Les Abattoirs, which was known to be a slaughterhouse in the past. There was a hospital nearby and both were near the Garonne River, they were near the river as river symbolizes life.

However, the slaughterhouse is now a museum of modern and contemporary art. I was kind of disappointed once i went in. The art in it were like random stuff, and explanations were mostly in French. There were some pieces of art that was like just pencil poking a paper in a random manner, and some were just weird videos of people, like one who was trying to avoid getting poked by needles that were placed around the neck...

My favorite "thing" out of this was just a simple painting. It was definitely disappointing compared to the museums i went last week and the week before..

Then we went down to Garonne river. It was such a wonderful sight! I would say that the river was more interesting than the museum to me.

Here is the river in a wide view!

And some random shots of me posing! :D

Then we went to Le château d’eau, which was a water tower but now a photograph gallery. Unfortunately, photos weren't allowed inside so no pics taken! However, the photographs inside were very nice! Too bad there was only 2 floors to view, first and basement level. It would have been good to be able to climb up the tower and see the town from a higher perspective.

The time we went there, there were pictures by Kourtney Roy and Katrien de Blauwer.

I really liked the pictures by Kourtney Roy!

Afterwards, we went to the park behind Le château d’eau, Prairie des Filtres . We walked the whole stretch, which felt nice and relaxing.

I really love the sky in Toulouse. The clouds were thin enough to let the sun rays pass through, with streaks created by planes leaving from the nearby airport.

We ate dinner at a bar restaurant near Carmes metro, which had very good chicken tenders fried in corn flakes! There was even a huge unicorn that passed by the area!

The next day, a friend from the internship workplace asked us if we wanted to go to the Christmas Market at Capitole, and we agreed to!

A selfie of me before heading out! xD

We ate Aligot, which was potato with cheese and garlic. It was delicious! However, the smallest container was still too big for me since i ate lunch before going.

After walking in the Christmas Market, we went to a pop up Christmas area in front of Capitole station, it was so pretty, even though it was raining. I felt the rain helped to reduce the amount of people there, since i have seen a huge queue to enter the night before, and hardly a queue when we went today!

Some images of the awesome area!

Say Hi to Santa!

There were also these different variations of Santa in transparent globes!

A final picture of me with a Christmas tree to end the post!
